Mrs. Grace M. Rogers 

  Mrs. Grace Mathews Rogers, of 210 Bedford Place, died Monday evening in 
Louise Obici Memorial Hospital.  She was the widow of Richard Herman Rogers 
and the daughter of the late Robert E. Mathews and Mrs. Maude Lancaster 
Mathews.  She was a native of Nansemond County and a member of Suffolk 
Christian Church. 

  She is survived by seven cousins. 

  Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the R.W. Baker 
and Company Funeral Home by Dr. Robert B. Marr.  Burial will be in Holly Lawn 
Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer 
Society.
