Mark Youndt with R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home in charge. Sexton of Nansemond Convalescent Center died Thursday in Louise Obici Memorial Hospital. She was a native of Montvale, Bedford County, and was the widow of John William Sexton. She was a retired public schools teacher of the Berkley section of Norfolk. She a former member of Edenton Street Methodist Church, Raleigh, N.C., and member of Main Street United Methodist Church, Suffolk. She was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution, United Daughters of the Confederacy, Colonial Dames, and Kappa Delta Sorority of Longwood College, of which she was a graduate. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Beverly S. Hathaway of Charlottesville and Mrs. Elizabeth S. Wills of Windsor; a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Lochridge Hatcher of Atlanta; three grandchildren; and four great- grandchildren. Nena Beverly (LOCHRIDGE; Mrs. John W.)
