HELEN WILSON TAYLOR

   GATES, N.C. - A funeral service for Mrs. Helen Wilson Taylor, 74, was 
held Saturday at 2 p.m. in Sidney F. Harrell Funeral Home, Suffolk, by the 
Rev. Mike Davis.  Burial was in Holly Lawn Cemetery.

   Mrs. Taylor died Thursday in Louise Obici Memorial Hospital.

   A native of Gates County, she was the widow of Maywood T. Taylor. She was 
a member of Savage’s United Methodist Church and a member and past president 
of its United Methodist Women.

   Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Mary Sue Baker of Gates, Mrs. 
Elsie Lee White of Hampton, and Mrs. Margaret Smither of Holland; and three 
brothers, Ray C. Wilson of Gates County, J. Grant Wilson of Carrollton and 
Woodrow Wilson of Courtland.
