JESSE FRANK WEAVER

   SUFFOLK - Jesse Frank Weaver, 69, of the 3300 block of Holland Road, died 
June 19, in a hospital.

   Mr. Weaver, a native of Nansemond County, retired as a supervisor for Pond 
Brothers Peanut Co.  He was a member of Bethlehem Christian Church and 
McAlister Masonic Lodge 285.  He was a World War II Navy veteran.

   Survivors include his wife, Erma Briggs Weaver; a daughter, Judy W. Johnson 
of Warsaw; a son, Jesse L. Weaver of Danville; two sisters, Mamie W. Rountree 
and Ruth W. Rountree of Suffolk; three brothers*, Richard A. Weaver and Harry 
L. Weaver, both of Suffolk; and three granddaughters.

   The funeral was conducted Saturday in Sidney F. Harrell Funeral Home by the 
Revs. Merle Correll and R.E. Brittle.  Burial was in Holly Lawn Cemetery.
