Mr. Weaver, a native of Nansemond County, retired as a supervisor for Pond Brothers Peanut Co. He was a member of Bethlehem Christian Church and McAlister Masonic Lodge 285. He was a World War II Navy veteran. Survivors include his wife, Erma Briggs Weaver; a daughter, Judy W. Johnson of Warsaw; a son, Jesse L. Weaver of Danville; two sisters, Mamie W. Rountree and Ruth W. Rountree of Suffolk; three brothers*, Richard A. Weaver and Harry L. Weaver, both of Suffolk; and three granddaughters. The funeral was conducted Saturday in Sidney F. Harrell Funeral Home by the Revs. Merle Correll and R.E. Brittle. Burial was in Holly Lawn Cemetery. Jesse Frank WEAVER, of Suffolk, retired supervisor for Pond Bros.
