H.L. White 

  Henry Lee White, 63, of 375 Turlington Road, died Wednesday night in 
Maryview Hospital. 

  He was the founder of H.L. White & Son Sheet Metal Work Inc. and was active 
in the real estate business. 

  He was a native of Gates County, N.C., and the husband of Mrs. Hazel Burch 
White and son of Alonzo A. [sic*] White and Allie Eason White. 

  Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, David A. White of Suffolk; one 
grandson, one brother, Wesley M. White of Suffolk; and one sister, Nina W. 
Briggs of Suffolk. 

  He was a member of the First Baptist Church, N. Main Street. 

  Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Sidney F. Harrell Funeral 
Home.  Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Mauseoleum. 

  The family will be at the home of his son on Woodland Road.
