A native of Southampton County, he was the widower of Annie Maude Butler Wills. He was a retired farmer and carpenter. He was a member of Antioch Christian Church. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. James M. Beale and Mrs. J. Edward Hall, both of Windsor; one sister, Maude Roberson, also of Windsor; and four grandchildren. The funeral will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. in R.W. Baker and Co. Funeral Home by the Revs. Joseph Talley and Donald Trump. Burial will be in Holly Lawn Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Windsor Rescue Squad. R.W. Baker and Co. Funeral Home in charge.
