EUGENE WILKINS

   Suffolk - Eugene Wilkins, 86, of Wilkins Drive died Saturday in Louise Obici 
Memorial Hospital. He was a native of Nansemond County and the husband of Anne 
Lanier Britt Wilkins.

   He was a member of First Baptist Church, Main Street, and Woodmen of the 
World. He was a retired employee of Planters Peanut Co.

   Other survivors include a daughter, Doris W. Barnes of Danville; four sons, 
Fred Earl Wilkins of Suffolk, Eugene Wesley Wilkins of DeLand, Fla., Robert 
Louis Britt of Hartford, Conn., and Warren Hunter Britt of Roanoke; two sisters, 
Maggie Williams Boyce of Suffolk and Ruth Wilkins Hayes of Baltimore; six 
grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

   The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Hill Underwood Funeral 
Home by the Rev.s Charles W. Thompson and Mark Youndt. Burial will be in Cedar 
Hill Cemetery. The family will be at the home.

interred in Cedar Hill Cemetery (Block O, Lot 10*), Suffolk,
