Ward Mrs. Beulah Macklin Carter Ward, 93, of 303 Causey Ave., died Sunday in Louise Obici Memorial Hospital. She was a native of Gates County, N.C., and the widow of Timothy E. Ward Sr. She was a charter member and the older member of West End Baptist Church, and was a member of the Women's Missionary Society. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Sarah Ward Carver of Jacksonville, Fla.; three sons, Hiram O. Ward of Suffolk, T.E. Ward Jr. of Ahoskie, N.C., and Gordon C. Ward of Bossier City, La.; three sisters, Mrs. Eunice C. Ward and Mrs. Sadie C. Rountree of Corapeake, N.C.; and Mrs. Virginia C. Bustle of Gatesville, N.C.; two brothers, Ernest R. Carter of Powellsville, N.C., and Wince Carter of Gatesville; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A funeral will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home by Rev. Donald J. Dunlap. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. The family will be at the home of her son, Hiram O.
