Mooring/Smith/Richards Family Information

Henry Mooring married Mary Smith in 1775. He was the owner of Hannah
Richards, slave, & witnessed her marriage to Richard Clayton on 6/8/1797.
The ceremony was performed by Rev. John Faulcon, Baprtist minister & surry
Courthouse Clerk. Hannah & her 2 sons, Patrick & Charles, were freed after
Mooring's death in 1805.
