SURRY COUNTY, VA - COURT - Judgement for William Gray against William Williams --------------¤¤¤¤¤¤-------------- Court Records: William Gray-William Williams, Southmark Parish, Surry Co, VA JUDGEMENT FOR WILLIAM GRAY AGAINST WILLIAM WILLIAMS (1731) At a Court held at Southmark for the County of Surry ye 7ber? ye 19th 1733 Judgment is granted William Gray against the estate of William Williams (who hath privately departed this county) returned attached for eleven hundred forty four pounds of tobacco due on account with costs of suit the said Gray having made oath in court that the same is justly due said Thomas Davis, Edward Keneth & Morgan Lewis or any two of them being first sworn before one of her Majesties Justices of the peace for this county are nominated & appointed to value & appraise the goods of William Williams returned attached by William Gray & to report their proceeding to the next court.
