SURRY COUNTY, VA - DEEDS - Arthur Allen to Nathaniel Harrison, 19 Nov 1702 --------------¤¤¤¤¤¤-------------- Deeds: Arthur Allen-Nathaniel Harrison, Southmark Parish, Surry Co, VA INDENTURE ARTHUR ALLEN-NATHANIEL HARRISON (1702) This Indenture made the nineteenth day of November in ye year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and two between Arthur Allen &; Katherine, his wife, of Lawnes Creek parish in the County of Surry of ye one part and Nathaniel Harrison of Southmark parish in ye county aforesaid of ye other part. WITNESSETH ye said Arthur Allen and Katherine, his wife, for and in consideration of one quima? in hand, paid before ye ensealing and delivery of these presents by the said Nathaniel Harrison where with two, ye said Arthur Allen and Katherine, his wife, doth hereby acknowledge themselves, fully satisfied contented and paid do give, grant, bargain and sell infeeoffee and confirm unto the said Nathaniel Harrison his heirs, Executors and Administrators & assigns forever one acre of land lying and being in ye Bureson Swamp and next adjoining to ye plantation on ye said swamp where ye Harrison is now building a mill. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD ye one acre of land with all ye houses, woods, ways, waters, profitts, endowments, hereditaments thereon or thereunto belonging to him, the said Nathaniel Harrison, his heirs Executor & Administrators and assigns forever and we do hereby bind ourselves & either of us joyntly and severaly our heirs Executors & Administrators to warrant and defend this our sale of all and singularly ye premises with all their appurtenances to him, ye said Harrison, his heirs Executors and Administrators, and assigns against all and all manner of persons by, from, or ending them deriving any claim of title, or interest thereof and to acknowledge this to be our real act and deed at ye next court to be held for this County aforesaid.
