VA Deed Bk. 8, pgs 330-331 FHLC #34116 This Indenture made this seventh day of February One Thousand seven Hundred and eighty Between Jesse Allen and Ann Allen his Wife of the one Part of the County of Isle of Wight and Josiah Wren of the other part of the same County Witnesseth that the said Jesse Allen and Ann Allen his Wife for themselves and their Heirs &C for and in Consideration of the Sum of Three hundred Pounds Current Money of Virginia to them in hand paid by the said Josiah Wren, the Receipt thereof they doth hereby acknowledge hath given granted bargained Allien Enfeoff and Confirm unto the said Josiah Wren and to his Heirs and Assigns the said Ann Allen's Third Part of a Tract or parcel of Land during her life lying and being in Surry County being part of that Land formerly belonging to Thomas Davis To have and to hold the said third part of the said Tract of Land and Premisses with the appurtenances thereunto belonging, or in any ways appertaining to the only proper use and behoof of the said ---Josiah Wren his Heirs and assigns during the said --- Ann Allens life and the said Jesse Allen and Ann Allen his Wife do hereby agree with the said Josiah Wren that it shall and may be lawful for the said Josiah Wren his heirs and assigns peaceably to have and to hold occupy possess & enjoy to their only proper use the Land and Premisses aforesaid with out any interruption Claim or Demand of them the said Jesse Allen and Ann Allen his Wife their Heirs or any other person or persons whatsoever and the said Jesse Allen and Ann Allen his Wife for himself and his Heirs and Assigns shall and will Warrant and defend by these presents against the Claims and Demand of all Persons whatsoever during the said Ann Allens life whereof the said Jesse Allen and Ann Allen his Wife hath hereunto set their Hand and Seal the day and year first above written --- -- Signed Sealed & Delivered in the presents of Jesse Allen /L.S.
