ATKINSON DIES AT HILTON VILLAGE HILTON VILLAGE - Oct. 21 - Mrs. Loutie Faison Atkinson, died Tuesday at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. L. Schmelz Stone here. Mrs. Atkinson was a native of Surry County, but had been a resident of Newport News for 50 years. Besides Mrs. Stone she is survived by one other daughter, Mrs. Edward B. Langslow, of Hilton Village; four sisters, Mrs. Roxie Jones, of Wakefield, Mrs. A.A. Atkinson, of Dendron, Mrs. E.H. Barrett and Miss Ethel Faison, of Alexandria; two brothers, J.O. Faison, of Chitham and G.L. Faison, of Williamsburg; also four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The funeral service will be conducted at Caffee Funeral Home, Newport News, at 2 p.m. Thursday, with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery. Her parents, John Robert & Permelia Elizabeth (LANE) FAISON, are buried in Wakefield Cemetery. Lived in Dendron.
