ANNA GOODRICH BISHOP 

  WAVERLY - Mrs. Anna Goodrich Bishop, 86, died Aug. 15, in the John Randolph 
Hospital, Hopewell.

  She was a lifelong resident of Surry County and a member of the Carsley 
United Methodist Church.

  Survivors include a stepdaughter, Mrs. Vivan B. Blake of Franklin.

  A funeral was held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Purviance Funeral Home by the 
Rev. D.L. Bays.

  Burial was in the family cemetery near Waverly.
