AMY ESTELLE COLLIER BAILEY 

MRS. AMY COLLIER BAILEY 

  DENDRON - Mrs. Amy Collier Bailey, 60, died yesterday in Surry County. 
She was the wife of Girley Bailey and member of Rocky Hock Methodist Church. 
Besides her husband she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. J.S. Richardson of 
Elberon and Mrs. C.R. Epps of Wakefield; one son, J.W. Bailey of Louisville, 
Ky.; three brothers, Clifton Collier of Petersburg, Clinton Collier and 
Walter Collier both of Dendron; four sisters, Mrs. M.J. Raiford of Ivor, Mrs. 
Clarence Carl Baetz of Lake City, Fla., Mrs. Iva Rollins and Mrs. Effie Tate 
of Dendron; and five grandchildren.

  Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 3 p.m. at the Purviance Funeral 
Chapel at Wakefield.  Burial in Rocky Hock Cemetery in Surry County.

MRS. GIRLEY BAILEY 

  Mrs. Amy Collier Bailey, 60, of Dendron, wife of Girley Bailey, died Sunday, 
April 18.  She was a member of Rocky Hock Methodist Church and a lifelong 
resident of Surry County. 

  Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. J.S. Richardson 
of Elberon and Mrs. Cecil R. Epps of Wakefield; a son, James W. Bailey of 
Louisville, Ky.; three brothers, Clifton Collier of Petersburg; Clinton and 
Walter Collier, both of Dendron, and four sisters; Mrs. M.J. Raiford of Ivor, 
Mrs. Carl Baetz of Lake City, Fla., Mrs. Ida Rollins and Mrs. Effie Tate, both 
of Dendron; and five grandchildren. 

  Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Purviance Funeral Home, 
Wakefield with Rev. Edward B. Owen and Rev. Wm. B. Epps officiating.  Burial 
was in Rocky Hock Methodist Church Cemetery, Surry County. 

  Pallbearers were Stanley Cooper, H.S. King, Sr., Charles Eure, Roland E. 
Epps, Joseph Eggleston, C.M. Ellis, J. Richard Andrews and J.C. Whitmore, Jr.
