DEWILLAR BAILEY 

MISS DEWILLAR BAILEY 

  ELBERON - Miss Dewillar Bailey, 72, of Elberon, died Tuesday in Patrick 
Henry Hospital after a lengthy illness.

  A native of Surry County, she was a retired practical nurse.  She was a 
member of Rocky Hock United Methodist Church. 

  Survivors include two brothers, Dillard B. Bailey of Wakefield and Girley 
Bailey of Newport News. 

  A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. in Purviance Funeral Home 
Chapel by the Rev. R.L. Consolvo. 

  Burial will be in Rocky Hock United Methodist Church Cemetery, Surry County.

MISS DEWILLAR BAILEY 

  Miss Dewillar Bailey, 72, died Tuesday Feb. 23, at Patrick Henry Hospital 
after a brief illness. 

  She was a native of Surry County and the daughter of Henry B. and Sarah E. 
Drake Bailey.  She was a member of Rocky Hock United Methodist Church and a 
retired practical nurse. 

  Surviving are two brothers, Dillard B. Bailey of Wakefield and Girley 
Bailey of Elberon. 

  Funeral services were held Thursday, Feb. 26, at 2 p.m. in the Purviance 
Funeral Chapel by the Rev. R.L. Consolvo.  Burial was in the Rocky Hock Church 
cemetery. 

  Pallbearers were J. Richard Andrews, J.C. Whitmore, Jr., Stanley Cooper, 
J.N. Savedge, Horace S. King, Jr., T. Ward Tynes, Ownie D. Bell, Curtis A. 
Byrum and Marion J. Raiford.
