DILLARD BENJAMIN BAILEY 

  WAKEFIELD - Dillard Benjamin Bailey, 81, died Sunday morning at his home. 

  A native of Surry County, he was the husband of Mrs. Ruth Padgett Bailey 
and was a retired farmer. 

  He was a member of Wakefield Congregational Christian Church and Wakefield 
Ruritan Club. 

  A funeral service will be held today at 2 p.m. in Purviance Funeral Home, 
Wakefield, by the Rev. H.E. Crutchfield.  Burial will be in Rocky Hock Church 
Cemetery, Surry County.

  WAKEFIELD - Dillard Benjamin Bailey, 81, died at his home Sunday morning. 

  A native of Surry County, he was a son of Henry B. and Sarah Drake Bailey. 

  He was a member of the Wakefield Christian Congregational Church, the 
Wakefield Hunt Club.  He also was a retired farmer. 

  He is survived by his wife, Ruth Padgett Bailey of Wakefield and several 
nieces and nephews. 

  A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Purviance Funeral 
Chapel in Wakefield by the Rev. H.E. Crutchfield.  Burial will be in Rocky 
Hock Cemetery, in Surry County.
