JOHN HOLT BELL 

  John H. Bell, age 60 years, son of the late John H. and Rebecca E. Bell, 
died at his residence in Surry County, Va. at 2:35 a.m. April 12th.  Mr. Bell 
is survived by his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth H. Bell, two sons, M.H. and J.H. Bell, 
of Norfolk, one daughter, Mrs. H.L. Bailey of Surry, one grandchild, Mary 
Elizabeth Bailey.  Funeral services will be conducted at "Old Brick Church". 
Bacons Castle Thursday afternoon at 3 p.m. by Rev. Derby, Pastor of Surry M.E. 
Church.
