JULIA SPIVEY BAILEY Mrs. Julia Spivey Bailey, 60, of Norfolk, formerly of Wakefield, the wife of G. Bernard Bailey and a daughter of the late Cosco and Lillie Virginia Richardson Spivey, died in a Norfolk hospital, Tuesday, November 15. She had lived in Norfolk for 25 years and was a member of Norview Methodist Church, Esther Nicholson Bible Class and Woman's Society of Christian Service of the church. Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. James E. Pettrey, Jr. and Mrs. Richard E. Meekins of Norfolk; a son Airman 3C George T. Bailey of the Air Force, Valdosta, Ga.; a sister, Mrs. C.H. Tate of Richmond and four grandchildren. A funeral service will be held in the Norview Methodist Church Thursday, Nov. 17, at 1:00 p.m. by the Rev. William H. Acosta. The body will be in the church at noon Thursday. Burial will be in Rocky Hock Cemetery, Surry.
