MARY ELIZABETH BELL 

  Mary Elizabeth Bell, of Elberon, passed away peacefully Monday, February 5, 
2018.  A life-long resident of Surry, she was a daughter of the late William 
Perry Bell and Lottie Jones Bell and was also preceded in death by her 
brothers, Henry, Nick, and Charles Bell and her sister, Laura Carroll.

  Left to cherish her memory are her sisters, Hattie Bell Vaughan, and Helen 
Bell Minton, and numerous nieces and nephews.

  The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at R.W. Baker & 
Co. Funeral Home, Wakefield Chapel from 7:00 am to 8:30 pm.  A graveside 
service will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Mill Swamp 
Baptist Church Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be 
made to Surry Volunteer Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 188, Surry, Virginia 23883.
