BAILEY Mrs. Mabel Harvell Bailey, 73, wife of Joseph Henry Bailey, died Sat. She is also survived by two daughters, Mrs. Helen Griffin and Mrs. Laura Newsoms, both of Nansemond County; two sons; J. Harvell Bailey of Ivor and G. Cary Bailey of Bogota, Columbia, South American; two sisters; Mrs. Nannie Smith of Wakefield and Mrs. W.A. Beale of near Waverly; and four brothers; M.D. and R.L. Harvell, both of Wakefield; A.G. Harvell of Norfolk and R.S. Harvell of Florence, S.C. Funeral services were held at I.O. Hill and Company Funeral Home in Suffolk with burial in Mill Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery. Mabel Rosamond (HARVELL; Mrs. Joseph H.)
