A member of Rocky Hock United Methodist Church, she was a teacher in Vacation Bible School for the last 20 years. She was a former member of the Wakefield Woman's Club and was past president of the Surry County Home Demonstration Club. Survivors include her husband, Roger J. Bailey; a daughter, Mrs. Camille Bailey Donaldson of Virginia Beach; a son, Charles Lewis Bailey of Highland Springs; her mother, Mrs. Mollie Redd LaFfoon of Suffolk; and two grandsons. A funeral will be conducted at 4 p.m. Tuesday in Purviance Funeral Home, Wakefield, by the Rev. J.M. Tongue and the Rev. L.P. Bland. Burial will be in the Rocky Hock Church Cemetery. The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society or the Ivor Rescue Squad. ****************************************************************************** MARGARET VIRGINIA ROSSER BAILEY WAKEFIELD - A funeral service for Margaret Rosser Bailey, 63, was held Tuesday in Purviance Funeral Home at 4 p.m. by the Revs. J.M. Tongue and L.P. Bland. Burial was in Rocky Hock Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Paul Rogers Jr., Paul Higgins, Jimmy Griffin, Hany Lee Redd, Tommy Griggs, Paul Cannon, and Shannon Roach. Mrs. Bailey died Saturday in a Richmond hospital. A native of Lynchburg. She was the wife of Roger Bailey and was a member of Rocky Hock United Methodist Church and a teacher in its Vacation Bible School for the last 20 years. She was a former member of the Wakefield Woman's Club and a past president of the Home Demonstration Club. Other survivors include a daughter, Camille B. Donaldson of Virginia Beach; a son, Charles Lewis Bailey of Highland Springs; and two grandchildren.
