BAILEY WAKEFIELD - Jan. 16, - Marion Pond Bailey, 59, retired farmer, died Saturday. He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. A.H. Lowe of Wakefield and Mrs. Bessie B. Lowe of Smithfield; a brother, George B. Bailey of Norfolk and two half-brothers, J. Henry Bailey of Suffolk and Walter E. Bailey of Hopewell. A funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Purviance Funeral Home, with burial in Rocky Hock Methodist Church Cemetery. ****************************************************************************** MARION POND BAILEY Marion Pond Bailey, of Wakefield, 59, a retired farmer, died Saturday, Jan. 15 at a Newport News hospital after a long illness. He is survived by two sisters, Ms. A.H. Lowe of Wakefield and Mrs. Bessie B. Lowe of Smithfield; a brother, George B. Bailey of Norfolk, and two half-brothers, J. Henry Bailey of Suffolk and Walter E. Bailey of Hopewell. Funeral services were held on Monday, Jan. 17, at 2:30 p.m. at Purviance Funeral Chapel with Rev. Edward B. Owen officiating. Burial was in Rocky Hock Cemetery. Pallbearers were B.E. Cowling, Sr., R.M. Pond, Stanley Cooper, J.C. Epps, Oliver Rogers, C. Morris Ellis, C. Garland Goodrich and Earl Hargrave.
