RALPH JARMAN BAILEY

  Ralph J. Bailey, 76, died Monday, Dec. 23 at Louise Obici Memorial Hospital.

  Mr. Bailey, a life-long resident of Surry County, was son of the late Robert 
Joseph and Annie L. Parsons Bailey.  He was a member of the Rocky Hock United 
Methodist Church, Wakefield and was a retired farmer.

  Survivors include: a wife, Martha Harrison Bailey; a son, Robert J. Bailey 
of Richmond; two sisters, Mrs. Kathleen B. Revelle of Wakefield and Mrs. Hilda 
B. Jones, of San Antonio, Texas; a daughter-in-law, Carol Peterson Bailey, 
Richmond.

  Graveside services were held at Rocky Hock Cemetery in Wakefield on 
Thursday, Dec. 26, at 11 a.m. officiated by Rev. Jess V. Staton.

  Memorial donations may be made to the memorial fund of the church.

  Purviance Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
