RUTH BAIN PADGETT BAILEY 

MRS. R.P. BAILEY 

  DISPUTANTA - Mrs. Ruth Padgett Bailey, 79, Route 1, Disputanta, died Sunday 
in Louise Obici Memorial Hospital. 

  Born in Sussex County, she was a member of Wakefield Congregational 
Christian Church. 

  Survivors include a niece, Mrs. Joyce P. Stech, with whom she resided with 
for two years; a sister, Mrs. Lucy T. Brittle of Wakefield; a brother, John R. 
Padgett of Dendron; and several nieces and nephews. 

  A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Purviance Funeral 
Home Chapel, Wakefield, by the Rev. Henry Ackerman and the Rev. Darwood Rowan. 
Burial will be in Rocky Hock Church cemetery, Surry County.  The family will 
receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. 

  The family requests that memorials be made to the Wakefield Congregational 
Christian Church or the Prince George Rescue Squad.

Burial will be in Rocky Hock Church Cemetery, Surry County. 

  The family request expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions 
to Wakefield Congregational Christian Church or the Prince George Rescue 
Squad.
