RALPH J. BAILEY 

  SUFFOLK - Ralph J. Bailey, 76, a lifelong Suffolk [sic; Surry County] 
resident, died Monday, Dec. 23. 

  Mr. Bailey was a retired farmer and member of Rocky Hock United Methodist 
Church, Wakefield. 

  Survivors include his wife, Martha Harrison Bailey; a son, Robert J. Bailey 
of Richmond; two sisters, Kathleen B. Revelle of Wakefield and Hilda B. Jones 
of San Antonio, Texas. 

  Graveside service at 11 a.m. Thursday at Rocky Hock Cemetery by the Rev. 
Jesse V. Staton. 

  The family will be at the residence.  Memorials to the memorial fund of the 
church.  Purviance Funeral Home, Wakefield, in charge.

RALPH JARMAN BAILEY 

  BAILEY - Ralph J. Bailey, age 76, died Monday, December 23, 1991 at Louise 
Obici Memorial Hospital, Suffolk.  A life-long resident of Surry County, he 
was son of the late Robert Joseph and Annie L. Parson Bailey.  He was a member 
of Rocky Hock United Methodist Church, Wakefield and was a retired farmer.  He 
is survived by his wife, Martha Harrison Bailey; a son, Robert J. Bailey, 
Richmond; two sisters, Mrs. Kathleen B. Revelle, Wakefield and Mrs. Hilda B. 
Jones, San Antonio, Texas, and his daughter-in-law, Carol Peterson Bailey, 
Richmond.  A funeral service will be held at the graveside, Rocky Hock 
Cemetery, Wakefield on Thursday, December 26, 1991 at 11:00 a.m. by the Rev. 
Jess V. Staton.  The family will be at their residence to receive friends. 
Memorial donations may be made to the memorial fund of the church.  Purviance 
Funeral Home, Wakefield is handling arrangements.
