Irene Holland Bloxom 

  HAMPTON - Mrs. Irene Holland Bloxom, age 93, died Friday, October 14, 1983, 
in Hampton General Hospital. 

  Mrs. Bloxom, a native of Surry County, was a resident of the Hampton 
Convalescent Center.  She was a member of the Buckroe Baptist Church.  She 
was the daughter of the late Charlie Holland.

  Surviving is niece-in-law, Mrs. Frances Bloxom of Newport News. 

  A graveside service was conducted Saturday, Oct. 15, at 3 p.m. at the Old 
Brick Church Cemetery in Bacon's Castle with the Rev. Robert F. Cofield, Jr. 
officiating. 

  Colonial Funeral Home, Smithfield, was in charge of the arrangements.

   which gives her mother's name as Margaret.
