Livesay Burrow, 65, of Surry, died Monday in a Richmond hospital. He retired in 1975 as owner and operator of Surry Community Market and was a member of Surry Baptist Church and its deacon board. He was a director of the Surry Volunteer Rescue Squad, and also served on the board of the First Virginia Bank, Surry. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Cordelia Gale Burrow; two daughters, Misses C. Gale and Jennifer L. Burrow, both of Charlottesville; a son, David A. Burrow of Martinez, Ga.; and two sisters, Mrs. Earl Ingram of Newport News, and Mrs. George H. Clary of Suffolk. A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Purviance Funeral Home, Wakefield, by the Rev. James A. Cales. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. The family request expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Surry Rescue Squad or the American Cancer Society.
