CLIFTON LEE BARRETT 

  DENDRON - Clifton Lee Barrett, 81, died Wednesday, May 1 in Petersburg 
General Hospital.

  A Sussex County native, he was a retired service station operator.

  Survivors include his wife, Laura Johnson Barrett of Dendron; one daughter, 
Nancy B. Smith of Dendron; one grandson, Mike Smith of Dendron and one sister, 
Mary B. Staples of Colonial Heights.

  Services were held Friday, May 3 at 11 a.m. in the Purviance Funeral Home 
Chapel in Wakefield with the Rev. Samuel Askew officiating.  Burial was in 
the Wakefield Cemetery.

  Purviance Funeral Home in Wakefield was in charge of the arrangements.

b. 22 Mar 1904, Sussex Co., d. 1 May 1985, Petersburg, 
interred in Wakefield Cemetery*, 3 May 1985,
