FRANCES PITTMAN BRANTLEY 

  WAKEFIELD - Mrs. Frances Pittman Brantley, 60, died Saturday in her home.

  She was the wife of Stanley A. Brantley, and a native of Surry County. 
She was a member of the Wakefield United Methodist Church and the Wakefield 
Women’s Club.

  Other survivors include a son, Stanley A. Brantley Jr., of Wakefield; a 
brother, J. Ernest Pittman of Wakefield; two sisters, Mrs. S. Oliver Rogers 
of Wakefield and Mrs. William F. Troxler of Raleigh, N.C.; and two 
grandchildren.

  Funeral service was held Monday at 11 a.m. in the Purviance Funeral Chapel, 
Wakefield, by the Rev. R.L. Concolvo and the Rev. L.T. Bland.

  Burial was in the Wakefield County.

Wakefield.  She was a native of Surry County, a member of the Wakefield United 
Methodist Church, and Wakefield Woman’s Club.

  She is survived by her husband, Stanley A. Brantley; a son, S.A. Brantley, 
Jr., both of Wakefield; a brother, J. Ernest Pittman of Wakefield; two 
sisters, Mrs. S. Oliver Rogers of Wakefield and Mrs. William F. Troxler of 
Raleigh, N.C.; two grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 
28, at 11 a.m. from the Purviance Funeral Chapel, in Wakefield.  Burial in 
Wakefield Cemetery.
