Mrs. C.H. Berryman Buried Dec. 9 In Oakwood Cemetery 

  Mrs. Stella Hunter Berryman, 45, wife of Cecil H. Berryman, died at her home 
in Surry County on Monday, December 7 [sic; Sunday, December 6], 1959. 

  Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, Cecil Hunter Berryman of 
Williamsburg; a sister, Mrs. Henry T. Edwards of Richmond; a brother, Harvey 
M. Hunter of Stafford; nieces and nephews. 

  A funeral service was held Wednesday, December 9 at 2 P.M. in Oakwood 
Cemetery, Surry, by the Rev. Ralph W. Mapp of the Surry Baptist Church.  The 
procession left the Jones Funeral Home at 1:15 P.M.

Her husband (1891 - 1954) was an Army veteran of WW-I.  They m. 30 Aug 1917 
   in Isle of Wight Co. 

Her father, Howard Lyon HUNTER (b. 1881 PA) was buried 28 Jan 1941 at 
   Surry C.H.  (D.Cert. 2853 {Blackwater #2}) 

Her mother, "Maggie" Margaret Matilda (GEER) HUNTER (1878 NC - 1958), 
   is buried in Sifford Cemetery, Parrott, Pulaski Co.
