H.E. Crutchfield. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Wakefield. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Boys Home at Elon College, N.C. Mr. Cobb, 69, died in a Suffolk hospital Thursday morning after a long illness. A native of Prince Edward County, he was a son of John Lee and Mrs. Dolly Williams Cobb. He was a retired electrician. He was a member of the Farmville Presbyterian Church and Blackwater Sportsman's Club. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and a member of Khedive Shrine Temple, Norfolk. He was an Army veteran of World War I with service in France. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Alice Presson Cobb; a son, Fields W. Cobb, Jr. of Lafayette, Calif.; a sister, Miss Hazel E. Cobb of Atlanta; and three grandchildren.
