ALICE HOLDSWORTH COFER 

  Mrs. Alice Holdsworth Cofer, of Dendron, died Friday night at Dendron.  She 
is survived by her husband, T.M. Cofer; six sons, Clyde, Linwood, and Wilson 
Cofer all of Dendron; Raymond Cofer, of Surry, and Dennis Cofer, of Richmond; 
two daughters, Mrs. Annie Rodgers of Newport News, and Mrs. Margaret 
Holdsworth of Disputanta, and 11 grandchildren.  Funeral arrangements were 
incomplete last night.

b. 22 Oct 1877, Surry Co., d. 26 Sep 1947, Dendron, 
interred in Waverly Cemetery*, 28 Sep 1947,
