CLARK*] DIES WHILE PLOWING DENDRON - Emmett J. Clarke, son of the late Jim C. Clarke and his wife, Amanda White [sic*] Clarke, died Monday, June 27 at 5 p.m. while plowing in his field. Survivors besides his widow who was formerly Miss Sadie Savedge of Elberon are two sons, Walter Clarke and Arthur Lee Clarke, of Richmond; two grandsons also of Richmond; two brothers, Robert Clarke and Alex Clarke of Carsley; two sisters, Mrs. Virginia Burgess of Spring Grove, and Mrs. Mattie Brockwell of Disputanta and a number of nieces and nephews. A sister, Mrs. George Hall of Marion, S.C., proceeded him in death last week. Note: the original title had: J.C.
