ROBERT A. CLARKE 

ROBERT A. CLARKE DIED THURSDAY 

  Following a long illness, Robert A. Clarke, 86, a retired farmer and 
lifelong resident of the Carsley community, died Thursday morning, Nov. 29, 
at his home.  He was a member of Carsley Methodist Church.

  He is survived by two sons, Willie O. and John T. Clarke, of Carsley, and 
a daughter, Mrs. Devaney Cooper, of Wakefield.

  Reverend James G. Holloman conducted a graveside service Saturday afternoon 
at 2:30 in Waverly Cemetery.

  Active pallbearers were nephews of the deceased, R.H. Clarke, J. Russell 
Clarke, Gene Clarke, Joe L. Clarke, Walter Clarke, Arthur L. Clarke and Willie 
Brockwell.

  Friends of the family were honorary pallbearers.
