CATHERINE QUINDELLA BRITTLE DREWRY 

  Catherine Brittle Drewry, 89, of Wakefield passed away peacefully August 21, 
2014 at Consulate Health Care of Williamsburg.  She was a member of First 
United Methodist Church of Fox Hill and a former member of Rocky Hock United 
Methodist Church.  Mrs. Drewry was preceded in death by her parents, Tyler S. 
Brittle and Thelma Butler Brittle; her husband, Turner Monroe Drewry, Jr. and 
her granddaughter, Laura A. Hays. 

  Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Ann D. Hays and husband, David, 
of Suffolk; a grandson, Daniel P. Hays and wife, Shelly of Portsmouth and her 
granddaughter, Jennifer G. Hays of Newport News. 

  The family will receive friends Saturday, August 23, 2014 at R.W. Baker & 
Co. Funeral Home, 11414 General Mahone Hwy., Wakefield, VA 23888 from 6:00 to 
7:30 p.m.  A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 24, 2014 
at the funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Rocky Hock United Methodist Church 
Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the 
Alzheimer's Association, Southeastern Virginia Chapter, 6350 Center Drive, 
Suite 102, Norfolk, VA 23502.
