SPAFFORD RAY EDWARDS 

EDWARDS CHILD RITES HELD AT ROCKY HOCK 

  Elberon - Funeral services for Spafford Ray Edwards, 3, young son of Mr. 
and Mrs. Howard Edwards of Norfolk, formerly of Elberon, were held Tuesday, 
January 24, in the family plot in the Rocky Hock Cemetery. 

  Besides his parents, he is survived by two sisters, five brothers and 
grandparents.

son of Howard Waverly & Mabel Virginia (HANCOCK) EDWARDS, of Norfolk, 
b. 5 Feb 1935, Smithfield, Isle of Wight Co., 
d. 23 Jan 1939, Princess Anne Co., 
interred in Rocky Hock Methodist Church Cemetery (unmarked*), Surry Co., 
   24 Jan 1939,

Their paternal grandparents, John Waverly & Rosa Belle (MAYNARD) EDWARDS, 
   are buried in Union Christian Church Cemetery, Dendron, Surry Co.
