Besides his parents, he is survived by two sisters, five brothers and grandparents. Spafford Ray EDWARDS, son of Howard Waverly & Mabel Virginia (HANCOCK) EDWARDS, of Norfolk, b. 5 Feb 1935, Smithfield, Isle of Wight Co., d. 23 Jan 1939, Princess Anne Co., interred in Rocky Hock Methodist Church Cemetery (unmarked*), Surry Co., 24 Jan 1939, "Smithfield (VA) Times," Vol. 19, No. 45, Thurs., Feb. 9, 1939, p. 3 *His sister Hattie Bell EDWARDS is also buried there unmarked.
