  We regret to hear of the sudden decease of Dr. William H. Edwards of 
Surry County. - 

  He left home on Friday morning last to attend to his patients.  After an 
absence of less than hour, his horse returned to the house and a servant 
went to see what was the matter, and he found Dr. Edwards dead in the road. 
It is supposed that he died of heart disease.

interred in Oakland/Oakwood Cemetery*,

   Dendron, typo d. 9 Oct. 1859, Surry Co., bu. Oakwood Cemetery. 

Not among the six interments listed at Oakland Cemetery, Sussex Co.
