RUBY GOODRICH ELLIS

  WAKEFIELD - Ruby Goodrich Ellis, 79, a native of Surry County, died Tuesday, 
Feb. 9. 

  She was a lifelong member of Rocky Hock United Methodist Church, where she 
was a member of the Women's Society of Christian Service and the Naomi Bible 
Class. 

  Survived by her husband, C. Morris Ellis; a sister, Charlene G. Traylor of 
Wakefield; and a brother, Cephus E. Goodrich of Wakefield. 

  Visitation at the residence on Church Street. Funeral 2 p.m. today at Rocky 
Hock United Methodist Church by the Rev. Jess V. Staton. 

  Memorials to Rocky Hock Methodist Church Memorial Fund, Wakefield, 23888. 

  Arrangements by Purviance Funeral Home.
