Infant Daughter Of Fowlers Buried 

  SMITHFIELD - Funeral services for Katherine Ann Fowler, infant daughter of 
Mr. and Mrs. Ernest C. Fowler of Chuckatuck, were conducted today at 3 p.m. 
at the graveside at Oak Grove Methodist Church Cemetery in Surry County, by 
the Rev. Warren F. Taylor, pastor of the Smithfield Baptist Church. 

  The child died Saturday night at Maryview Hospital, Portsmouth. 

  Besides her parents, she is survived by three brothers, Ernest C. Fowler, 
Jr., Thomas Lee Fowler and William Robert Fowler, all of the home; her 
maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Hazel Lee Hargrave of Carrollton; and 
her paternal grandfather, Arnold Clifton Fowler of Smithfield.

Her parents m. 1 Aug 1953 at Benns Church (IoW.Co. #72) and div. 1960. 

Her mother (1938 - 1974) 2m. Rudolph BOYCE.  She is also buried at Oak Grove. 

Her father (1917 - 1971) was an Army veteran of WW-II.  He is buried in 
   St. Luke's Memorial Park, Benns Church.
