MARY AGNES "AGGIE" GOODRICH 

  WAKEFIELD - Mary Agnes Goodrich, 80 passed away at her home on Thursday, 
Dec. 13, 2007. 

  Born in Surry County, she was the daughter of the late John Waverly Goodrich 
Sr., and Mabel Viola Joyner Goodrich.  Mary was a lifelong member of Rocky 
Hock United Methodist Church in Wakefield. 

  She is survived by her sisters, Charlotte Carden of N.C., Margaret Doss of 
Newsoms, Va., and Mabel Johnson of Wakefield; her brothers, Herbert Goodrich 
of Tennessee, and Ronnie A. Goodrich Sr. and his wife, Alice W. Goodrich, of 
Wakefield; a step-sister, Esther Wood; step-brothers, Robert Butler, and Tom 
Butler; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

  Mary was predeceased by her step-mother, Violet Goodrich; sisters, Edith 
Barrett, and Iva Munford; two brothers, John W. Goodrich, Jr. and E. Carlton 
Goodrich; step-sister, Rose Logan; and step-brother, Fred Butler. 

  Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, in the Purviance 
Chapel of J.T. Morris & Son Funeral Home, Wakefield.  Burial followed in Rocky 
Hock United Methodist Church Cemetery, Wakefield.  The family received friends 
at the church following the interment. 

  Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association chapter of 
your choice.
