WAKEFIELD - Harry Lee Goodrich, Jr., 63, a lifelong Surry County resident, who was a farmer in the county throughout his adult life, died Monday in Louise Obici Memorial Hospital, Suffolk. He was a member of the Farmer's Hunt Club and attended Rocky Hock United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Marjorie O'Berry Goodrich; three daughters, Mrs. Judy G. Webb of Gainesville, Fla., Miss Nancy Goodrich of Nashville, Tenn., and Miss Sandra Sur Goodrich of Wakefield; three sisters, Mrs. Doris Tabit of Norfolk, Mrs. Elva Greenstreet of Virginia Beach, and Mrs. Ann Scarborough of Petersburg; four brothers, C.L. Goodrich and Melvin Goodrich, both of Wakefield, L.C. Goodrich of Richmond, and W.T. Goodrich of Mechanicsville; and two grandchildren. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in Purviance Funeral Home by the Rev. L.P. Bland and the Rev. J.M. Tongue. Burial will be in Rocky Hock United Methodist Church Cemetery.
