GOODRICH DENDRON - The funeral of Mrs. John A. Goodrich, 77, who died at her home, Rocky Hock, near here on Sunday, was conducted by the Rev. Robert H. Humphry, pastor of Rocky Hock Methodist Church, with interment in the cemetery of the church on Tuesday. ****************************************************************************** MRS. Humphry, pastor of Rocky Hock Methodist Church, with interment in the cemetery of the church on Tuesday. She is survived by seven children - George of Dendron, Rob, John, Mrs. R.E. Eggleston, Mrs. Henry Goodrich, Misses Addie and Daisy; one brother, Charlie Bailey, and one sister, Mrs. M.A. Hart, all of Surry County; a number of grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. ****************************************************************************** MRS. JOHN GOODRICH DIES AT ROCKY HOCK DENDRON, Oct. 13 - Funeral services for Mrs. John A. Goodrich, 77, who died at her home at Rocky Hock, Surry County, Monday, were conducted Tuesday at two o'clock at the residence by her pastor, Rev. Robert H. Humphry of Rocky Hock M.E. church, where the deceased was a lifelong member. Interment was made in the cemetery at the church. Mrs. Goodrich has been an invalid for a number of years. Recently she underwent a serious operation from which she died not recover. Surviving her are George Goodrich of Dendron; Rob, Johnnie; Mrs. R.E. Eggleston, Mrs. Henry Goodrich; Misses Addie and Daisy Goodrich; one brother, Charlie Bailey, and one sister, Mrs. M.A. Hart, all of Surry County, and a number of grandchildren and one great grandchild.
