MINNIE LEIGH GOODRICH GOODRICH 

FINAL RITES HELD FOR MRS. GOODRICH 

  Mrs. Minnie Lee Goodrich, 73, died Friday night, May 1, at a Suffolk 
hospital after a long illness.  She was a member of Rocky Hock Methodist 
Church and native of Surry County.  She lived in Wakefield Community all 
her life and was the daughter of the late John A. and Ida B. Goodrich. 
Her husband was the late Charles Henry Goodrich. 

  Survivors include one son, Henry Osborne Goodrich, of Wakefield; two 
brothers, Robert B. Goodrich and John W. Goodrich; three sisters, Miss 
Daisy Goodrich and Miss Addie Goodrich, all of Wakefield, and Mrs. Hattie 
Brittle, of Newport News; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. 

  Funeral services were held Sunday, May 3 at 3:00 at Purviance Funeral 
Chapel with Rev. L.P. Bland officiating.  Burial was at Rocky Hock Church 
Cemetery.  Pallbearers were Dr. Kasper Kaufman, Charles Boykins, B.H. 
Goodrich, Ernest W. Goodrich, Jerome Goodrich, Carlton Goodrich, Pete 
Eggleston and Oliver Rogers.
