MELVIN BURT GOODRICH 

MR. M.B. GOODRICH 

  WAKEFIELD - Mr. Melvin Burt Goodrich, 59, died Wednesday at Louise Obici 
Memorial Hospital. 

  He was born in Surry County and was a member of Rocky Hock United Methodist 
Church. 

  He was employed with Sussex Oil Co. as driver for 20 years. 

  Survivors include a son, M. Eugene Goodrich of Wakefield; three sisters, 
Mrs. Doris G. Tabit and Mrs. Elva G. Greenstreet, both of Norfolk, and Mrs. 
Anna G. Scarborough of Dinwiddie; three brothers, Clarence L. Goodrich of 
Wakefield, Woodland T. Goodrich of Mechanicsville, and Lawrence C. Goodrich 
of Chester. 

  A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Purviance Funeral Home 
Chapel by the Rev. E. Lee Chattin.  Burial will be in Rocky Hock United 
Methodist Church cemetery. 

  The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 tonight at Purviance Funeral 
Home.
