MAGGIE MAUDE WHITMORE GOODRICH 

MRS. GOODRICH DIES IN SURRY 

  Funeral service for Mrs. Benjamin J. Goodrich, 65, will be held at 11 
o'clock Friday morning, January 31, at the home with burial in Rocky Hock 
Cemetery.  Rev. S.L. Dumville will be in charge of the service. 

  Mrs. Goodrich died Wednesday night at her home near Wakefield after a 
lingering illness.  Before her marriage she was a member of the Union 
Christian Church but for the past 45 years has been a faithful member of 
the Rocky Hock Methodist Church. 

  She is survived by her husband; one daughter, Miss Evelyn Goodrich; one 
son, Ernest W. Goodrich; a granddaughter, Pamela Sue Goodrich, of Surry; 
one brother, Owen Whitmore of Dendron; three sisters, Mrs. Hugh Hargrave 
and Mrs. George Goodrich of Dendron, and Mrs. Floyd Hargrave of Petersburg.
