ODIE A. GOODRICH 

  WAKEFIELD - Odie A. Goodrich, 86, died Sunday in a Petersburg hospital after 
a long illness. 

  A lifelong resident of Surry County, he was a son of Emmett and Mrs. Sallie 
Freeman Goodrich.  He was a retired carpenter. 

  Surviving are nieces and nephews. 

  The body was taken to Purviance Funeral Home. 

  A funeral service will be held today at 2 p.m. in Rocky Hock Methodist 
Church Cemetery by the Rev. Edward B. Owen.
