GALLOWAY, 74, BURIED FRIDAY IN OLD BRICK CH. CEM. D.R. Galloway Sr., 74, residence of Surry for 45 years, died at his home there Thursday morning after a short illness. He was a veteran of the Spanish-American War. He is survived by two brothers W.D. and L.H. Galloway of Baltimore; two sons, Raymond Galloway Jr. of Newport News and John Galloway of Franklin, Va.; one daughter, Miss Elizabeth Galloway of Surry, and three grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the grave in the Old Brick Church Cemetery at Bacons Castle Friday at 4 o'clock.
