Mrs. Robert Grove Buried June 10 In Oakwood Cemty. 

  Mrs. Helen Savedge Grove, 79, died Thursday, June 8, 1961, in Obici Memorial 
Hospital, Suffolk, after a short illness. 

  She was the widow of Robert Grove and a daughter of William T. and Mrs. 
Lizzie Ellis Savedge.  A lifelong resident of Surry Countv, she was a member 
of Surry Baptist Church and of the Laurel Chapter, Order of Eastern Star, at 
Claremont. 

  Surviving are one brother, A. Melville Savedge of Surry; three foster sons, 
William E. Savedge, of Surry, Arthur M. Savedge of Newport News and George C. 
Savedge of Smithfield; two foster daughters, Mrs. Thomas W. Baker of Richmond 
and Mrs. W.C. Andrews Jr. of Surry; one niece and fourteen foster 
grandchildren. 

  A funeral service was held in the Bullock Funeral Home Saturday, June 10 at 
2 P.M. with burial in Oakwood Cemetery, Surry.
