MARGARET M. HOLLAND Mrs. Margaret Murry [sic; Murray*] Holland, 71, died at her home at Bacon’s Castle, Friday June 25 at 3:30 p.m. where she had been a lifelong resident [sic]. Funeral services were conducted at the grave Saturday afternoon and burial was at Lawnes’ Creek Church. Rev. T.W. Page officiated. The deceased is survived by four sons, Riggie D., W.H., C.B. and W.Z. Ireland, and Margaret Gwaltney, b. Surry Co. Her father, a Confederate veteran, is also buried there.
